Local University Of Arkansas Student Earns State Research Award

Kaylee Smith, of Anderson, an honors chemical engineering and physics double major student in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Engineering at the University of Arkansas, recently received a State Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education. Students must have an excellent academic record and the support of a faculty mentor to be eligible to apply to the program.
