Several trick-or-treat events are set to take place in Pineville and Goodman on Halloween night.
The First Baptist Church of Pineville will host a "Trunk or Treat" at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. The church is located at 206 East Fifth Street, Pineville.

The Pineville Fire Department will host a trick-or-treat event, starting at 5 p.m. on Halloween night, at the fire station, located at 205 Jesse James Road. Children are welcome to come visit the firefighters and other groups who will give-away candy. Youngsters also can enjoy a bouncy house.

The city of Goodman is teaming up with the Goodman Area Fire Protection District, the Goodman Police Department and Splitlog Baptist Church to host a Halloween event at the Goodman ballpark. The get-together, which will feature free hot dogs, hamburgers, and candy, will begin at 5 p.m. Halloween night.
