Noel Woman's Club Holds Summer Potluck

The June meeting of the Noel Woman's Club was called to order by President Dot. Roll call was answered with 13 members present. This was our summer potluck, so we enjoyed a dinner of beef brisket along with many delicious side dishes and desserts brought by members. Hostesses for this evening were Vicki and Linda. After the wonderful food, we had a short business meeting. Minutes were read and approved along with the treasurer's report. Cookbook sales are still going well. Our birthday this month was Bonnie Leonard.

It was brought up that new flags are needed for the cemetery and we had some discussion concerning that.

It was also brought up that the Noel Senior Center is looking for food and toiletries for "Christmas in July." If you care to help with this worthwhile project, please contact Louine at the Noel Senior Center at 475-3559.

Scraping and painting of the archway leading into the Noel Cemetery is in need of being done and we are fortunate to have a volunteer to do that. If you have access to a portable air compressor that you are willing to offer for this project please contact President Dot at 475-5043.

Our next meeting will be July 12 and our hostess will be Cleo. We will have a fun program and invite you to come join us. For information please contact 475-5043.
