The August meeting of the Noel Woman's Club was held Aug. 9. It was a salad supper and Bonnie was hostess. Members brought salad toppings to make a wonderful salad meal. Roll call was answered with "one of your favorite parts of summer." Family, friends and air conditioning were good answers.
The treasurer's report was given by Treasurer Bonnie and minutes were read by Secretary Debbie.
Work will begin on the gate to the Noel Cemetery when cooler weather arrives. Someone has volunteered to clean and paint it. The club is thankful for those volunteering their time to help in the community.
Birthday girls this month are Faye Davis and Gladys McQuillan.
The next meeting will be Sept. 13. Guest speaker will be Ashley Stanley with self-defense tips. Hostess for that meeting will be Gladys.
