Wrestlers Tie Up Team Win At Tournament

The McDonald County Junior High School wrestling team hosted Joplin and Webb City on Monday night at Anderson Elementary School.

No team scores were kept. McDonald County won 17 matches and lost seven against Joplin and won 15 and lost 12 against Webb City.

McDonald County wrestlers with their records on the night were: Kyle Hook 2-0, Keagan Spurgeon 1-1, Austin White 1-1, David Lazalde 1-1, Lenaya Hazelbaker 1-0, Paul Phillips 1-1, Jordan Freeman 0-2, Junior Teriek 2-0, Larry Selby 1-1, Leon Zacarias 0-2, Marvin Iohp 2-0, Sebastian Gill 1-1, Jabin Harvey 0-2, Michael Williams 3-0, Jack Bowers 3-0, Tashawn Williams 1-1, Kade Smith 1-1, Omar Manuel 2-0, Damian Materne 2-0, Kent Dryer 2-0, Mateo Cain 1-1, Johnny Ordonez 0-2, Tyler Sprenkle 1-1, Austin Manwiller 1-1 and McCoy Ikosia 1-0.

McDonald County was at Neosho on Tuesday. The Mustangs host Joplin East, Joplin South, Monett and Diamond on Nov. 19 and travel to the Joplin Tournament on Nov. 21.
