Three members of the McDonald County Youth Wrestling Club took first place at the Bulldog Classic held Saturday in Independence, Kan.
Colter Vick (10 and under, 82 pounds), Jayce Hitt (10 and under, 110 pounds) and Oscar Ortiz (12 and under, 84 pounds) were the club's winners.
Other members of the club to earn a medal are as follows:
• 6 and under -- Landon Vick, second place, 46 pounds;
• 8 and under -- Maddox Feagin, fourth place, 55 pounds;
• 10 and under -- Cross Spencer, third place, 70 pounds; Blaine Ortiz, third place, 79 pounds;
• 12 and under -- Gabriel Selby, second place, 80 pounds; Jacob Selby, fourth place, 84 pounds; Fisher King, fourth place, 92 pounds;
• 14 and under -- Malachi Logan, fourth place, 150 pounds.
Next up for the club is the 2015 MO/USA 6 and Under State and Rookie State Tournament to be held Jan. 30-31 in Sedalia.
