The McDonald County Commission accepted a bid for one of the three Natural Resource Conservation Service projects in the county during the Aug. 17 meeting. Granger Dirtworks was the only bidder.

Commissioners decided to accept the bid for the site on Big Sugar Creek at Buzzard Glory Road in Washburn but not the bids for the sites on Little Sugar Creek at Ponderosa Road in Pineville or the Elk River tributary at Langley Road in Anderson.
