Tyrone Power, Jr. To Attend Jesse James Days

If Tyrone Power, star of the 1939 movie "Jesse James," were alive today, he would be 100 years old.

To honor him, Tyrone Power Jr. is coming to visit McDonald County during the annual Jesse James Days Celebration. Power will be at the Pineville Community Center at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 for an official welcoming ceremony. If you have a story to contribute, come join a panel of experts consisting of Power, film historians and local folks who were extras in the movie.

At 5:30, on Saturday, Aug. 9, Power will be signing autographs at the Historic Courthouse Museum on the square.

Family Histories
