Sign-ups for four positions on the McDonald County Emergency Communications (911) board of directors for the Nov. 11 General Election began July 15 and will continue through Aug. 19.
There are two seats up for election on the east side of the county. Incumbents are Tim Miller and Darrell Watson.
There are also two positions open on the west side of the county. Rob Evenson and Jonathan Pierce are the incumbents.
All positions are for four years.
To register as a candidate, you will have to go to the 911 Dispatch Center at 1957 Mountain Ridge Road, off Route H in Pineville. Office hours are 8 a.m.to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
