The Holy Spirit Lives In Each Believer

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 1 Thessalonians 4:16

There is much confusion and fear surrounding the end times, the rapture of the church, and the tribulation, but it is all the fulfillment of the word of God.

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13

The Lord does not want us to be confused or frightened. Many times the Bible tells us "Do not fear" but we should be ready. We have been living in the age of grace for 2,000 years, but it will abruptly come to an end after the church has been raptured. The rapture is a sudden catching away of all born again believers to meet Jesus in the air to be changed instantly into a new and incorruptible body and we will be with the Lord always. The rapture will precede the great tribulation, God's judgment upon the earth. The only thing worse than the great tribulation will be hell itself.

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. 2 Thessalonians 2:3

The Holy Spirit lives in each believer and works as a restrainer to the antichrist. There is currently a falling away from the truth today and it will only worsen after the Spirit filled church is removed. Without the standard of the Bible and the absolute authority of God, there are no right and wrong behaviors. There is still time to come to Christ. Today is the day of salvation!

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3
