The descendants of George Edward and Blanche Clark held their fifth family reunion on Saturday, June 7, at the George Clark farm, located northwest of Anderson.
The weather cleared following a week of rain. God answers prayers for which we give thanks.
The lake was full for fishing and swimming. Steven Kyser caught a four-pound catfish and he was thrilled.
Dinner was enjoyed outside with a variety of covered dishes, including meats, beans, salads, various vegetables, potato chips, fried okra, homemade crescent rolls, strawberries, cakes and cookies, cold drinks and homemade ice cream, made by a family member.
In the afternoon, kids went swimming and fishing throughout the day. Following the dinner, a short remembrance was given in honor of our sister and brother-in-law Nedra Boyd Tosh as George, Vera, Edna and Lee expressed memories and love and support for family members attending the reunion from Oklahoma.
Attendance of 70-plus told stories, shared family photos and introduced extended family as they came in. Mary Kyser (family photographer) took many photos, which she always shares with each family.

Several family members attended Banner Church services on Sunday. The Vera Rogers family and Edna Crosby family sponsored dinner at the Rogers' farm near Splitlog.
