The McDonald County Commission approved the transfer of funds from the General Revenue Fund to two other county accounts, according to the July 7 minutes.

The unanimous vote to transfer of $20,000 to the Assessment Fund and $15,000 to the Health Department Fund came after a discussion with Treasurer Joye Helm.

The amounts moved were in accordance with the 2014 budget, the minutes noted.

E. C. Beard visited the commission.

On July 9, the commission met with Sheriff Mike Hall to talk about and sign a salary gupplementation grant application.

Chris Deem, sanitarian at the McDonald County Health Department, discussed several issues. Keith Holloway asked for maintenance on Blackstock Lane and Prosecuting Attorney Jonathan Pierce complied with a request to discuss several legal issues.

Due to what was termed in the minutes as extreme emergency circumstances, the commission called five vendors for bids for a bat wing brush cutter, garnering responses from three. A bid of $14,900 from S and H Farm Supply was accepted.
