The third annual Old Timer's Day 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 3, in Southwest City. The starting line will be at Blankenship Park and runners will continue down Main Street on a flat, scenic course.
The 5K/Fun Run is one of several events planned for May 3 -- Old Timer's Day. Old Timer's Day is an annual event to honor someone locally who has contributed to the Southwest City area.
Other events include a parade, outhouse races, ugly feet contest and a rodeo on May 2 and May 3.
