The McDonald County School District is now taking appointments for Early Childhood and Kindergarten screenings and enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year. Screenings and enrollment will be done at the elementary or primary school in your attendance area.
Below is a list of dates and times available for appointments at each school.
• Anderson Elementary School -- Early childhood screenings will be held May 12-13 (child must be 4 years old on or before July 31, 2014). Kindergarten screening will be May 14, 15 and 16 (child must be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2014). Items you will need for screening include state issued birth certificate and shot record. You will need to make an appointment by calling the school at 417-845-3485;
• White Rock School -- Early Childhood screenings will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 5-6. Kindergarten screenings will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 6-7. A child must be five years old by Aug. 1 to enter Kindergarten and fours years old by Aug. 1 to be in Early Childhood
White Rock also has an Early Childhood program that assists students with developmental delays. To qualify for this program, a child must be either three or four years of age and display a developmental delay.

• Rocky Comfort School -- Early Childhood screenings will be held Monday, May 5 for children who turn 4 years old by July 31. Kindergarten screenings are set for Tuesday, May 6 for children who turn 5 no later than July 31. Call the school at 417-628-3781 for an appointment.
• Pineville Primary School -- Preschool and kindergarten screenings will be held on Thursday, May 8, and Friday, May 9. Contact the school at 417-223-3303 to schedule an appointment.
