The McDonald County Emergency Management Agency will host a special weather seminar this Thursday.
The free, two-hour program is open to the public. The special seminar is particularly aimed at law enforcement, fire personnel, trained spotters and EMS responders.
The presentation is planned for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Pineville Community Center.
National Weather Service meteorologists from the Springfield office will present information about squall lines and squall-line tornadoes.
Registration for the program is not required.
