Three Arrested On Felony Warrants

A search warrant served by the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team and the McDonald County Sheriff's Office led to the arrest of three persons with felony warrants and the discovery of drugs, weapons and a stolen vehicle.

On Tuesday, April 16, authorities searched 310 South High Street in Noel. Five grams of a white, crystalline substance thought to be methamphetamine and six grams of a green, leafy substance thought to be marijuana were found. A Bryco Arms 9mm pistol and a homemade .22 caliber pistol were located on the property, in addition to a 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck stolen out of Delaware County, Okla.

Robert Wilson, 39, of Joplin, was arrested in connection with four active McDonald County warrants in relation to the possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, theft/stealing of a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm and operating a motorcycle when driver's license not validated for such operation.

Christopher Greer, 34, of Pineville, was arrested in connection with five active municipal warrants in relation to expired plates, operating a motor vehicle without financial responsibility, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to register a motor vehicle.

Erica Johnson, of Noel, was taken by ambulance to a hospital for a possible drug overdose. She is wanted in connection with seven active McDonald County warrants for passing a bad check and shoplifting.

ODET Commander Chad Allison said all charges for the illicit items are pending submission to the prosecutor.
