Bella Vista Amateur Radio Club meeting March 1

s The BV Amateur Radio Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 1, at Highland Christian Church in Bella Vista. The program will focus on emergency communications provided by hams in Puerto Rico in the wake of last autumn's devastating hurricanes. For anyone interested in acquiring an amateur radio license, the club also administers FCC exams on the second Saturday of each month at 2 p.m. All meetings and exams are held at the Highland Christian Church, 1500 Forest Hills Blvd (Highway 279), in Bella Vista. Stella Senior Center Hosts Dance March 2

s The Stella Senior Center will host a dance on Friday, March 2. The doors open at 5:30 p.m., with pulled pork on the menu. The dance starts at 7 p.m. with the band, "The McDonald County Playboys." Bunker Hill Music March 3

The monthly Bunker Hill Music is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Pineville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located south of the square on Main Street in Pineville. There will be potluck foods available; please bring a favorite dish to share with everyone. The Ozark Ridgerunners will be the featured entertainers. Anderson Betterment Club March 22

The Anderson Betterment Club, the city of Anderson and the Harry S. Truman Coordinating Council will host the first in a series of meetings to plan walking and biking trails for the community of Anderson. The meeting will be held Thursday, March 22, at the Old 71 Community Room located between Tatum Motors and Access Family Care, at 929 N. Highway 71 in Anderson. This is the first step in a long-range plan to establish a network of trails in the community that will eventually tie in with trails linking McDonald County with the northwest Arkansas Razorback Trails and beyond.

April 27-28

s The city of Bella Vista is sponsoring a city-wide garage sale April 27 and 28, with a rain date scheduled May 4 and 5. The city will partner with Bella Vista Neighbors, which runs a neighborhood program and website, to provide an online map of garage sales to help shoppers locate sales.
