Warrants Uncover Drug Stashes, Firearms

Two search warrants were served in McDonald County last week and turned up multiple controlled substances.

Warrants were compiled by detectives at the McDonald County Sheriff's Office and carried out by the local Special Response Team.

The first search warrant was served at a property on Narrows Lane, east of Noel. According to a press release, deputies discovered substances believed to be three grams of Heroin and 95-100 grams of methamphetamines, in addition to various pills and firearms found inside the residence.

Two suspects, Skyler Peters and Candace Bright, have been formally charged in connection with trafficking drugs in the second degree and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

The second search warrant was served at a property on Business 71 in Anderson, south of the high school. Deputies discovered more than 13 grams of methamphetamines, marijuana plants and numerous firearms.

Three suspects were arrested. Caddo Gann was charged in connection with the distribution of a controlled substance in a protected location, unlawful possession of a firearm, manufacturing a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school, and theft of a motor vehicle. Kyra Mouse and Keiko Gann were also charged in connection with possession of a controlled substance.
