The McDonald County High School wrestling team closed out its 2017-2018 regular season with wins over Cassville and Hollister and a loss to Carl Junction.

At Cassville on Jan. 30, the Mustangs swept a double dual with the Wildcats and Hollister.

McDonald County defeated Cassville, 48-28.

Picking up wins for the Mustangs were Christian Davidson (106, pin), Eh Doh Say (113, forfeit), Oscar Ortiz (120, pin), Jakob Gerow (126, forfeit), Carson Hoth (132, forfeit), Leon Zacarias (145, forfeit), Jack Teague (152, pin) and McCoy Ikosia (285, pin).

The Mustangs added a 54-25 win over Hollister.

Winning for McDonald County were Say (106, forfeit), Davidson (113, pin), Ortiz (120, pin), Gerow (126, forfeit), Hoth (132, pin), Jack Teague (152, pin), Wilson Menas (182, pin), Jesus Ocampo (195, forfeit) and Jarred Maggard (220, pin).

Carl Junction

Carl Junction defeated the Mustangs 61-18 on Feb. 1 at Carl Junction High School in the final dual of the season.

McDonald County's three wins came from Gerow (126, forfeit), Jack Teague (145, pin) and Ocampo (182, pin).

McDonald County begins district competition on Feb. 9 at Carthage High School. District finals are set for Feb. 10.
