Southwest City Senior Center invites the public to attend the monthly potluck dinner at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 2. The city council will join in the dinner and hold its regular city council meeting following the feast.
Feb. 2 is also Wear Red Day for American Heart Health Month.
The center will be hosting a chili cook-off at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8. Volunteers will prepare a pot of chili, and guests will be able to sample flavors from a variety of cooks.
