Wild Horse Ministries To Give Special Presentation

Thursday, August 9, 2018

Monty Muehlebach hopes that folks who attend the Wild Horse Ministries event on Saturday night will draw closer to God. He also hopes that neighbors will enjoy some fellowship and free Cowboy Catering Co. barbeque at the special event.

Muehlebach says the organizers of Wild Horse Ministries, through a unique demonstration, show how God wants a closer relationship with all of us.

The event will take place at Whispering Pines Arena, 1052 Goff Ridge Road in Pineville. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. with the presentation at 7 p.m.

Muehlebach's church, Sims Corner Church, will host the event for the first time on Saturday.

"A couple from down the road from me had them at their place for three years," Muehlebach said. "They asked me to take over it," he said.

The location will be an accessible spot for neighbors to attend. Muehlebach hopes to have such events twice a year.

During the presentation, Wild Horse Ministries co-founder Paul Daily will train a horse, explaining the "Round Pen of Life" to his audience. Daily will point out the similarities between man's relationship with God and a horse's relationship with his trainer.

Those on hand also will have the chance to enjoy free Cowboy Catering Co. barbecue pork, beans, desserts and drinks while hearing the Word of God in a whole new way.

Muehlebach hopes that those who attend will walk away with a greater appreciation for the Father's love and know how to grow that relationship -- "that they will see in the physical, how to respond and communicate with God in the spiritual," Muehlebach said, "how to have that relationship with the Father that we have all built in us."
