The 2018-2019 school year is upon us.
Freshman Academy allows incoming freshman a chance to get acquainted with their new school, schedules and teachers in a day all for them. A day in the life of a freshman.
Freshman Academy will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018.
First, students are able to ride the bus from their home Jr. High school to McDonald County High School in Anderson. And home again in the afternoon.
They will have the first opportunity to pick up their class schedule and then go through Red and Black Day classes with a bell schedule (no upperclassmen).
Lunch will be available.
Students will meet teachers, make friends, and obtain answers to questions about their new life as a MCHS Mustang!
As a note, students in grades 10-12 are able to begin picking up their schedules on Monday, Aug. 6.
