Dear Editor:
Sometimes good comes right out of bad and there are very good people in McDonald County.
Last week our cat, Miss Kitty (with all due respect to Amanda Blake, Miss Kitty was her name when she came to live with us) was killed in the road by our house.
Evidently the person who hit her was kind enough to stop and lay her on the side of the road after she had died. Such a nice gesture.
We had lectured the cat about crossing the road, but she never really paid any attention.
To the person who was so gentle to our furry family member, we give heartfelt thanks. It is so nice to know that there are compassionate people here all around us.
