Darrell Eugene Stout, 72, of Lanagan, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, at his residence after a fight against cancer.

He was born Jan. 10, 1946, in Anderson, Mo., to Charles and Myrl Jean (Stephens) Stout. He served in the U.S. Army for six years. He married Rosa Lee Williams Aug. 18, 1991, in Noel, Mo. He worked in restaurants, yard maintenance and in custodial. He enjoyed hunting, bowling, fishing and spending time outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Rosa Lee Stout; a brother, Homer Edward Stout; his daughter, Ingrid Marie Joseph; and granddaughter, Susan Ingrid Stout.

Survivors include his daughter, Tammy Read of Springfield, Mo.; two granddaughters; brother, Bob Stout (Kathy) of Sparta, Mo.; and two sisters, Carolyn Davidson of Anderson, Linda Martin of Colcord, Okla.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2018, at the Noel Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with the Rev. Bob Holloway officiating. Burial with full military honors followed at the Noel Cemetery in Noel.
