Nancy Lee Burkholder, 78, of Noel, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at her residence.

She was born on Dec. 10, 1939, in Thomas, Okla., to Arthur and Hilda (Clark) Thompson. She married Larry Burkholder on Aug. 3, 1959, at Southwest City, Mo. She was a child caregiver in her home for over 27 years and enjoyed cooking, collecting antiques and flower gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tony Van Burkholder; a grandson, Justin Burkholder; and nine siblings.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Burkholder of the home; a son, Michael Jon Burkholder of Noel; a daughter, Cynthia Dawn West (Stuart) of Rogersville, Mo.; a brother, Hal Thompson of Edinburg, Texas; sister, Zereta Kiesau of Clinton, Okla.; and three grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Noel Cemetery in Noel, with Cody Bishop officiating.

Sharon Virginia Horton, 78, of Anderson, Mo., died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson.

She was born Sept. 4, 1940, in Anderson to Francis and Joan (Green) Greer. She married Ronnie Horton May 31, 1963. Her faith was undenominational and she was a member of the Hilltop Mission Church in Anderson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, crafting and yard sales.

She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Greer; and her stepfather, Arthur Stalker.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Ronnie Horton; two children, Rick Horton (Robin) of Rogers, Ark., Marie Campbell (John) of Anderson; six grandchildren; mother, Joan Stalker; sister, Carolyn Burr of Anderson; brother, Gary Stalker (Donna) of Rocky Comfort, Mo.

Funeral services were held Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. The Reverend Rick Booyer officiated. Interment was at the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Mo.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.

Robert "Bob" Peterson

Robert "Bob" Peterson, 79, of Neosho, Mo., died Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at Medicalodge in Neosho.

He was born Aug. 20, 1939, in Scottdale, Pa., to Robert Herman and Anna Ellen (Ansell) Peterson. He married Donna Goodnight on March 26, 1966, in Reno, Nev. They raised their children in Elkland, Mo., before moving to Neosho. He was a manager at a lumber yard in Strafford, Mo. He enjoyed wood craftsmanship.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two siblings, Billy Eugene Peterson and Betty Louise Davis.

Survivors include sons, Barry Peterson (Janet) of Granby, Mo., Jeff Garza (Teresa Perez) of Olathe, Kan.; a brother, Richard Peterson of Scottdale; and four grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home with Mitchell Wright officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Union Cemetery in Stella, Mo.

Barbara Gail Tebow

Barbara Gail Tebow, 77, of Salina, Kan., passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, peacefully at her home. She was born Aug. 8, 1941, in Southwest City, Mo., to Walter "Jack" Lett and Ethel Mae (Cantrell) Lett. She married Billy Joe Tebow, Sept. 1, 1960, in Southwest City. They were married for 50 years before he died in 2011.

She was a banker for 33 years. She loved to crochet, cross-stich and was a gifted seamstress. She enjoyed working in her yard and growing prized roses. She enjoyed cooking meals for her family, especially during the holidays, and teaching her grandchildren how to cook. She was an active member in her church, working with young children in Sunday school and the Cubbies in AWANAS. She was known as "Grandma" to everyone.

Survivors include: her children, Melanie Leepers (Fred) of Salina, and Jack Tebow (Doris) of Quinter, Kan.; grandchildren, Terah Robinett (Todd), Tabia Norris (Spencer), Tiana Leepers, Joran Kiser (Tyler), and Ryan and Leah Tebow; great-granchildren who were the joy of her life, Iylah Robinett, Kamryn and Eliza Norris, and a fourth on the way; brothers, Harry P. Lett, and Dick Lett (Pam) of Southwest City; and nephews, nieces, and beloved friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, Bill Tebow; her parents; and twin brother, Jackie Lee.

Family will receive visitors 10-11 a.m., with services following at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at First Southern Baptist Church, 2401 S. Ohio, Salina. Private inurnment will be at a determined later date in Southwest City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to: Hospice of Salina, and First Southern Baptist Church of Salina buildng fund, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
