McDonald County closed out its 2018 golf season with three players competing at the Missouri Class 3, District 6, Golf Championships held on April 30 at Briarbrook Country Club in Carl Junction.

The Mustangs were led by Lily Allman, who finished tied for 38th place with a 33-over-par 105. Allman was the lone female in the field of 51. Allman does not get the advantage of using the ladies tees, she tees off from the same tee box as the boys.

Walker Keith shot a 106, and Tim Shields had a 117.

Bailey Burden of Aurora won the individual district title with a 78.

Springfield Catholic won the team title with a 322. McDonald County did not field a complete team in order to compete for the team championship.
