Anderson Betterment Club March 22

s The Anderson Betterment Club, the city of Anderson and the Harry S. Truman Coordinating Council will host the first in a series of meetings to plan walking and biking trails in the community of Anderson. The meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, at the Old 71 Community Room located between Tatum Motors and Access Family Care, at 929 N. Highway 71 in Anderson. This is the first step in a long-range plan to establish a network of trails in the community that will eventually tie in with trails linking McDonald County and the Northwest Arkansas Razorback Trails.

Stella Senior Center March 23

s The Stella Senior Center will host a fish fry and dance on Friday, March 23. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the fish dinner, which will be a benefit for the center. The dance begins at 7 p.m., with music by "Evelyn and The Outriders." The cover charge is $4. For more information, call 417-628-3314.

McDonald County School Board Candidate Forum March 27

s At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 27, a McDonald County School Board candidate forum will be held at the McDonald County High School Performing Arts Center. All community members are welcome to attend and hear the candidate's platforms. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the candidates questions about their goals if elected to the school board. Community members are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about the potential school board members. This event is hosted jointly by MSTA and MNEA of McDonald County.

Spring Crafting Class March 27 and March 29

s Hop into Spring with Amy Wallain, local crafter, who will show how to make burlap rabbits. All supplies will be provided by the library. Those who attend can enjoy an evening of crafting fun and leave with their own handmade project to enjoy this spring. There will be classes at two locations: McDonald County Library in Pineville at 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 27. The same class will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at the Southwest City Library. McDonald County Business Expo and Health Fair April 7

s The 2018 Business Expo and Health Fair will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at McDonald County High School on Saturday, April 7. This event is sponsored by the McDonald County Chamber of Commerce, is open to the public with free admission and includes a business expo, health screenings, an event and entertainment.

Bella Vista City-Wide Garage Sale April 27-28

s The city of Bella Vista is sponsoring a city-wide garage sale April 27 and 28, with a rain date scheduled May 4 and 5. The city will partner with Bella Vista Neighbors, which runs a neighborhood program and website, to provide an online map of garage sales to help shoppers locate sales.

AHS Alumni Association -- Registration Deadline April 30

s Anderson High School Alumni will host a reunion Saturday, May 19, at the River Ranch Resort located at 101 River Rd. in Noel. Registration forms were mailed within the newsletter. The deadline to register is Monday, April 30. Times for the reunion are 12 to 5 p.m., meet and greet; 5 to 6 p.m., business meeting; 6 to 9 p.m., dinner and dance with Max Brown.
