A bridge in Pineville will be closed for repairs on June 11 and 12.

The McDonald County Business 71 bridge, which spans the Elk River in Pineville, will be closed beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, June 11, through 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, according to McDonald County Emergency Management director Gregg Sweeten.

Missouri Department of Transportation crew members will repair the bridge's joints and superstructure.

Both lanes of Business 71 will be closed at the bridge.

No official detours have been assigned; drivers are urged to find alternate routes around the work zone.

Drivers should expect delays and anticipate that changing weather conditions and scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
