Tony Gale Gray, 76, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at his home in Noel, Mo.

He was born on June 14, 1942, in Shirley, Ind., to Chloe Cecil and Vera Dail Arnold Gray. He married Marlene (Gallagher) Garvin on April 15, 1998. Tony worked for Tyson for 33 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, boating, skiing, shooting guns, reloading ammo, riding his motorcycle and helping others.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chloe Cecil Gray and Vera Dail Arnold Gray; three daughters, Claudetta Lawton, Arvella Winchester, Linda Elliot; and son, Ronnie Gray.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene; five sons, Rick Gray (Denita) of Milan, Ind., Tony (Arlene) of Winnamac, Ind., Keith Garvin (Staci) of Anderson, Mo., Kevin Garvin (Tonya) of Anderson, Aaron Garvin (fiance Tina), of Noel; one daughter, Becky Stinson (David) of Scottsville, Ky.; and 18 grandchildren.

A memorial service was held July 1, 2018, at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Brother Mark Hall officiating.

Lonnie Wayne Stites

Lonnie Wayne Stites, 67, Neosho, Missouri, entered into rest on June 28, 2018, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Lonnie was born February 24, 1951, in Pineville, Mo., the son of Ernest Lee Stites and Agnes May (Townsend) Stites. He was a truck driver, enjoyed car shows and playing with his grandchildren. He was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Goodman. Lonnie and Debera (Strickland) Stites were married on July 12, 1969, in Bethpage, Mo., and she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Bub Stites and wife Rae of Anderson, Mo., and Jeff Stites and Dee Howard of Neosho; one daughter, Machelle Day and husband Dennis, Anderson, Mo.; four siblings, Larry Stites of Goodman, Rosalee Morris of Goodman, Janie Hatfield of Longview, Shirley Wood of Bella Vista, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Dale Stites; and a sister, Betty Stout.

Services will be Friday, July 6, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories; the Rev. G. L. Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow in the Tracy Cemetery, Anderson, Mo. The family will receive friends between 5 and 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.

Nileen L. Smith, 70, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at her home.

She was born Feb. 9, 1948, in Orange, Calif., to Nile Robert and Dorothy (Koroly) Smith. She worked at Searama as the trainer for a variety of animals including orcas, sea lions, walruses and more. She studied cosmetology and worked in the industry for the majority of her life. Her adventures took her to Central and South America.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Tami (fiance Warner); three grandchildren; brothers, Norman (Lesli) and Robert; and sister, Lynn Jerome (Tom).

A memorial service was held Monday, July 2, 2018, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, AR 72715. Pastor Jamie Cope officiated.
