A white pickup truck was towed from the cold depths of the Elk River on Wednesday morning following a single-vehicle accident earlier that morning.
At approximately 5:45 a.m. on Jan. 10, Andrew Dunlay, 20, of Neosho, was traveling westbound on Route H in his 2004 Chevrolet when the vehicle left the roadway and overturned into the river, five miles west of Pineville.
According to a traffic crash report published by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Dunway received minor injuries but his vehicle was totalled.
Reports indicate Dunlay was not wearing a seatbelt.
