Tax Returns at McDonald County Senior Center Now through March

s Economic Security will be at the Senior Center from 10:30 a.m. to noon every Friday to do property tax returns. The Senior Center is located at 624 Johnson Dr. in Noel. For more information, call Louine at 417-475-3511.

Anderson Betterment Club Meeting Feb. 15

s Regular ABC meeting will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Old 71 Community Room in Anderson. Catch up on the latest with the Anderson informational brochure; the Betterment Club will look for feedback on a new idea for the brochure. There will also be discussion of some new plans for this year's Berries, Bluegrass and BBQ festival in Anderson coming in May.

Stella Senior Center Dance Feb. 16

s The Stella Senior Center will host a dance, with doors to open at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16. Ozark Cajun food will be on the menu. The music begins at 7 p.m. with "The McDonald County Playboys" band. The cover charge is $4. There will be refreshments available all evening. Call 417-628-3314 for any additional information.

American Legion Benefit Dinner Feb. 16

s Pineville/Jane American Legion Post 392 will hold a third Friday benefit dinner, with serving to begin at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16. The dinner will be prepared by the Ladies Auxiliary and feature meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetable, salad, rolls, dessert and drinks. A donation of $7 for adults and $5 for children, ages 10 and under, is requested. Everyone is welcome and carry outs are available. The Legion building is located on Jessie James Road next to the Cornerstone Bank in Pineville, Mo.

New Bethel School Preservation Association Benefit Dinner Feb. 18

s A benefit lasagna dinner, hosted by the New Bethel School Preservation Association, will be served at 11:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18. Donations are welcome. The dinner will follow the morning 10:30 a.m. worship service at Banner Church of the Nazarene, 597 North Fork Road in Anderson. Proceeds will be used for the repair of plaster in the interior of the school. For more information, call 417-845-6855.
