Forged Checks May Have Been Passed

Deputies with the McDonald County Sheriff's Office recovered multiple checks believed to be stolen property during the execution of a search warrant on Friday, Aug. 10.

The checks were in the name of J and M Construction Company, of Gladstone, Mo. The department says some of the checks may have been used fraudulently.
