RACHEL DICKERSON/MCDONALD COUNTY PRESS Ricky Conduff of Diamond brought his 1927 Ford T Bucket to the Car Show for a Cause at River Ranch in Noel on Saturday.

The third annual Car Show for a Cause was held Saturday at River Ranch in Noel by City Limits Car Club.

Trevyn Faulkner of City Limits Car Club said proceeds of the show go to the Angel Tree Foundation.

"Everybody loves a good car show, so we might as well do it for a good cause," he said.

Brian Hole of Anderson brought a 1974 Chevrolet Camaro he has had for 34 years. It was his first car and he drove it through high school.

"I finished the restoration on it in 2011. The engine has been modified and beefed up pretty good. It's got a five-speed transmission. I did the paint job on it. I own a body shop in Anderson, Brian's Custom Painting. Ashley Auto Upholstery did the seats and interior. I just like driving it. It's a fun car to drive. I like to show it off."

He said he goes to a lot of car shows. He noted that the car was featured on Classic Industries' website. They saw the car on Facebook and did a story about it.

Hole said of the car show, "So far it's doing pretty good. It looks like there's some pretty nice cars here."

Ricky Conduff of Diamond brought a 1927 Ford T Bucket to the show.

"It's a metal bucket instead of fiberglass," he said. "It's original T bucket. It has a detachable steering wheel. It has hoosiers spider header pipes. It has a 750 Edelbrock carburetor. It has all disc brakes and red velvet interior. It sits in the garage a lot. It goes to parades, car shows, festivals. It's fun to drive. It's like a dune buggy to me. It's a solid car. It's all original. It also has doors. Most don't."

He said of the car show, "Not bad. It's the first one down here in Noel I've been to. There's some nice cars. I like being in the hot rod environment."

Josh Gann of Anderson brought a 2010 Mustang GT. He said it is a 4.6 V8 daily driver.

"I've done all the custom. I did the custom interior, the stripes. I traveled as far as Kansas City to go to car shows with it. I'm in the Four State Stangz Car Club out of Carthage, Mo.," he said.

The car was bought new in Jacksonville, Ark.: Gann is the second owner. He bought it in Joplin in 2015. He has also won some awards.

"I've won at the Eureka Springs Mustang Show. I've won twice at the Mustang Mother Road Rally, and I've won in Carl Junction. I've won over in Oklahoma," he said.

He noted the vehicle has "custom wheels, custom headlights. I've probably put over $3,000 in it."

Ray Pitts of Pineville brought three cars. The first is a 1967 Chevrolet pickup truck that belonged to Rick Hendrick of NASCAR.

"It's all custom outside of the body. The body is original. The paint job is '05 Nissan Tundra Blue. The bed floor is custom wood walnut with burl. The motor is a 388 small block Chevrolet. It has a T56 five-speed transmission," he said.

The second was a 1983 K30 extended-cab, four-wheel drive.

"It has a 454 motor with a 4L60E transmission. It has a custom red and black interior."

The third is a 1972 Blazer two-wheel drive, which is extremely rare, he said.

"It's basically stock, aside from a crazy paint job someone put on it. It has a 350 small block Chevrolet motor."

He said of the car show, "I think it's awesome. I wish there were more people here. The location is gorgeous."
