Aurora handed the McDonald County High School soccer team a 5-0 loss on Sept. 28 at the Loyce Shellnut Soccer Field on the campus of MCHS in Anderson.

Aurora took a 2-0 lead at halftime despite having McDonald County in control of the ball for most of the half.

The Houn Dogs clinched the win early in the second half with three quick goals.

The loss drops McDonald County to 4-8 entering its Oct. 3 match against College Heights at home and its Oct. 10 match against Joplin High School, also at MCHS.

Cassville

McDonald County picked up its fourth win of the year with a 1-0 win over Cassville on Sept. 26 at Cassville High School.

Ulizes Lazaro scored the game's only goal on an assist by Eh Doh Say.
