Bunker Hill Music Oct. 7

The monthly Bunker Hill Music is set for 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at Pineville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The building is located south of the square on Main Street in Pineville. There will be potluck foods available, so bring your favorite dish to share with everyone. Ozark Ridgerunners will be the featured entertainers. Stamp Club Announces Event Oct. 7

The Joplin Stamp Club announces its annual Stamp/Postcard Show is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, at the Continental Banquet Hall, 2728 N. Range Line Road, Joplin. There will be several stamp and postcard dealers from various states participating in the show. For the serious collector of stamps and postcards, this is an opportunity to find that special item needed to complete a collection and beginners will also find dealers ready to encourage and help them start a great hobby. Anderson Garage Sale Oct. 7

The city of Anderson will be hosting their annual citywide garage sale/clean-up on Friday, Oct. 7, and Saturday, Oct. 8. A trash bin will be available both days at the City Garage, across from Casey's on Missouri Highway 59.

Cassville Dance Oct. 7

The Cassville Dance for October will be held Oct. 7, at the Senior Citizens Center located at 1111 Fair St., Cassville. The dance begins at 7 p.m. with the Roaring River Sound Band playing. There is a $4 cover charge at the door and all proceeds go to the Senior Center. Come join us for an evening of fun and entertainment. Finger foods are welcomed. Pea Ridge Artillery Program Oct. 7

Pea Ridge National Military Park will conduct Civil War artillery programs on Saturday, Oct. 7. The artillery demonstrations are scheduled for 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. behind the park visitor center. The park is located 10 miles north of Rogers on U.S. Highway 62. Spaghetti Dinner And Dessert Auction Oct. 7

Because of local support, the Southwest City Senior Center is able to host a variety of activities for seniors, including an upcoming Spaghetti Dinner and Dessert Auction on Oct. 7. The fun will begin at 6 p.m. A spaghetti dinner with bread sticks, salad, dessert and a drink will be available -- $7 for adults and $5 for those ages 5-12. Tickets can be purchased at the Southwest Senior Center or at City Hall. Live music will be provided by local artist John Spurling. Spurling specializes in classic red-dirt country and folk music. A handmade afghan will be raffled off. "Our auctioneer is JimBob McGhee. He always does a fantastic job," said Director Melissa Lance. "All proceeds will go to our center. Anyone who would like to make a pie or dessert for the auction is welcome to do so or if you would like to help in another way just let us know. We appreciate your support." Old-Time Craft Festival Oct. 14

New Bethel School will hold the Old-Time Craft Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14. There will be craft demonstrations (blacksmith, black powder gun, rope making, quilting, spinning flax, butter churning, dutch oven cooking, hand pumping water, miniature horses and more); a general store and bluegrass and folk music followed by a smoked chicken dinner by Bill and Jane Lant for a $6 donation. 'Beauty and The Beast' Movie Oct. 21

The city of Pineville will host its last free movie of the season, "Beauty and the Beast," at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Pineville Community Center. Chairs will be provided, but those who are interested in attending may bring their own blankets or their own chairs. Concession will be provided.

Veteran's Day Concert Nov. 11

Bella Vista Women's Chorus will host a "Veteran's Day Musical Salute" on Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Joined by the Bella Vista Men's Chorus, Perfect Harmony and the Bentonville High School Chamber Choir, the songs will honor veterans. The event is at 3 p.m. at Bella Vista Community Church. This concert is a fundraiser for the National Cemetery in Fayetteville and the Veterans Wall of Honor in Bella Vista. Please join us as we sing to support our veterans.
