The structure that housed the beloved Pineville Grill is going up for sale on Monday.
Maron Restaurant Equipment LLC is hosting a real estate and restaurant auction, starting at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 13. Equipment and the building at 501 Main Street will be sold.
The real estate portion of the sale will begin at 11 a.m.
The Rivard family operated The Pineville Grill there for 21 years and closed the business on July 31.
The grill was a favorite place for breakfast for locals and visitors to the area.
Now, the two-story structure is listed on the auction block, as well as a variety of equipment, including fryers, grills, a pizza oven and more.
Other listed items include an antique vault door from the 1800s that is original to the building when it was an abstract office.
Restaurant equipment will be sold separately.
Rona Downs, co-owner of Maron Restaurant Equipment LLC, said her business specializes in restaurant auctions. She and other associates travel to Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and throughout Missouri, conducting auctions.
Downs said the real estate will sell first. The kitchen equipment will follow the real estate portion, should someone want to invest in a restaurant business and need the equipment for that venture, she said.
