Baseball All-Conference Selections Announced

Jamie Hanke led the McDonald County High School baseball team's all-conference selections that were recently announced by the Big 8 Conference.

Hanke was a unanimous selection as an infielder. The right-handed first baseman hit .413 with 17 RBI's and three home runs in 27 games. Hanke also earned second team honors as a pitcher, winning four games with an earned run average of 2.04.

Also receiving second team honors were Emanuel Baisch and Tyler Stoutsenberger. Baisch, a senior catcher, tied Hanke for the team lead with 17 RBI's, while Stoutsenberger is a junior outfielder.
