Chances Still Being Sold For Print By Famous Artist

Ticket sales are going well for the Doug Hall print fundraiser.

Chances are still being sold for the print, which is a professionally framed scenic McDonald County print.

The print is currently on display at US Bank in Pineville, after traveling from Goodman First Community Bank, Cornerstone Bank in Pineville and other various partner banks throughout the county. The print will be on display at the McDonald County Historical Museum on May 27.

The annual fundraiser got its start back in 2013, and continues today because of its success.

McDonald County Historical Society President Lynn Tatum said the organization is fortunate to team up with Hall, a local artist whose work is nationally known. His originals sell for thousands of dollars at auctions, Tatum said.

All proceeds benefit the Historical Society. Tickets are $5 each, or five for $20. Bank tellers sell tickets for the print.

Tickets will be sold until the Museum's Memorial Day opening celebration, "History Live." The drawing will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27. Tatum said anyone who hopes to win the drawing does not have to be present to win.

Tickets are available at the following local banks: Arvest Bank in Anderson; Cornerstone Bank in Pineville; and US Bank in Pineville.
