Neosho Wins Switched Game With 18U Squad

^McDonald County's 18U baseball team had a short week last week.

Games with Diamond were twice canceled due to Diamond failing to have enough players and a doubleheader against Neosho on June 21 at McDonald County High School that was switched into one nine-inning game that ended after eight innings because of the 10-run rule.

Neosho that claimed the lopsided win, an 11-0 defeat of McDonald County. Charlie Moore took the loss for McDonald County, allowing three earned runs in six innings. Raygan Bradley allowed two earned runs in two innings of relief.

Ty Shaver led the offense with two hits while Joe Brown, Grant Cooper and Reece Cooper had one hit each.

McDonald County falls to 7-9 for the season entering its final games of the season this week. McDonald County was at Cassville on June 27 before ending its season on June 28 at Aurora.
