Stella Friday Night Dance
The Stella Senior Center will be hosting a dance on Friday evening, June 23. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. The dance starts at 7 p.m. with "Frosty and The Roadhogs" band, for a $3 donation. Refreshments available.
Republican Club Meeting
The June meeting of the Republican Club will be held at 6 p.m. June 22 at the Pineville Community Center. Kenny and Kathy Underwood will be hosting the meeting. They are serving pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, red beans and rice, hot rolls and dessert. All meal proceeds from this meeting will go to the scholarship fund.
This is the largest meeting of the year because the club announces and introduces the 2017 scholarship award winners. Additional speaker to be announced. Check the McDonald County Republican Club Facebook page for updates.
Helicopter Landing Zone Dedication
Dedication of a helicopter landing zone will be at 10 a.m. July 15 at White Rock Station No. 2. The landing zone is for medical helicopters. The event is located at 90 Highway, just west of Sims Store.
