A meeting to discuss the Ozark Orchard Festival is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 24, at Goodman City Hall.
Anyone interested in helping with the festival, which will be in September, is encouraged to attend.
The Ozark Orchard Festival is a family-friendly event for the whole family. The community pulled together in 2016 to host the first-ever event, which featured bounce houses, a cow drop, carnival games, a petting zoo, dunk tank, food, music, vendors of all kinds and a 50/50 pot.
Attendees also participated in a pie auction and enjoyed a free smoked chicken dinner.
Organizers say it takes a number of volunteers working together to pull off the event. Applications for vendors will be made available at a later date. Organizers say they also will need pie donations.
Goodman City Hall is located at 203 W. Barlow St., Goodman.
