The McDonald County seventh grade girls' basketball team improved to 6-7 for the season with a 22-18 win over Monett on Dec. 7 at home.
Samara Smith scored 11 points to lead the Lady Mustangs. Reagan Myrick added five points. Hailey Montgomery had four and Megan Elwood two.
McDonald County made it a sweep with a 15-5 win in the B game.
Ruth Sherman led the McDonald County with eight points, followed by Mya Burton with four, A.J. Joseph with two and Analisa Ramirez with one.
McDonald County closes out its season this week in the Big 8 Conference tournament at Pineville.
