Noel Clinic Recieives Award

NOEL -- Noel Clinic has been named HPV Vaccine Cancer Prevention Champion for HHS Region 7.

Led in partnership by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Association of American Cancer Institutes and the American Cancer Society, this award program recognizes clinicians, clinics, practices, groups and health systems that are effectively working to protect their adolescent patients against HPV cancers by achieving high HPV vaccination rates. This year, the award program honored one champion from each of the 10 U.S. Department of Health and Human Services regions.

After a rigorous review and data validation process of all submissions, Ozarks Community Hospital -- Noel Clinic stood out as the Champion for HHS Region 7.

The Certificate of Achievement presented to OCH-Noel Clinic is in recognition of its commitment to HPV cancer prevention by achieving high HPV vaccination rates among adolescent patients between the ages of 11 to 12 years. Ozarks Community Hospital-Noel Clinic also implemented a process to achieve HPV vaccination series completion rates of 70 percent or more for patients between the ages of 13-15 years.
