Goodman's annual Christmas parade will make its way down Main Street at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Participants should report to the former site of the school on School Street at noon to get their numbers and line up. There will be organizers on hand to register participants. Divisions will include the float group, marching group, antique vehicles, walking group and the mounted group. Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places in each group.

During the parade, there will be a raffle for a recliner chair, a smoker grill, and a puppy. Tickets will be $1 each or six tickets for $5. A girl's bike and a boy's bike will be given away. In case of inclement weather, raffle sales will be in the community room at First Community Bank.

Santa Claus will ride in the fire engine and, after the parade, children will get to meet him. He will be handing out bags of candy to the children and, time permitting, there will be photos with Santa.

There will also be a food vendor. Hot drinks will be served by a local church, and the Upwork Lumber Yard will have refreshments.

The parade is organized by the Goodman Betterment Club with help from local firefighters and police.
