Soccer Drops 3 Games In Tourney

The McDonald County Lady Mustangs soccer team fell to 0-8 for the season with three losses in the Neosho High School Girls Soccer Tournament on April 22.

The tournament was played at Joplin High School due to wet grounds in Neosho. Games were played on Saturday, using the Eagles' turf soccer field and practice football field, which are located next to each other at Joplin High School.

The Lady Mustangs opened the tournament with a 5-0 loss to Carthage before dropping a 6-0 decision to Neosho and closing out the tournament with a 5-0 loss to Joplin.

McDonald County was at Carl Junction on April 25 before returning home to host New Covenant Academy on April 27.
