There was a good turnout for the Goodman Area Fire Protection District's annual Appreciation Day Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Goodman Main Street Station in Goodman.
The weather was very accommodating and Goodman residents were treated to free pulled pork sandwiches, hot dogs, beans, chips and soft drinks.
The Goodman Area Fire Protection District was founded in 2006.
The all-volunteer Goodman firefighters and first responders keep the Goodman community safe.
