The McDonald County junior high school wrestling team was at Webb City on Nov. 14 and hosted Joplin South, Joplin East and Neosho on Nov. 15 before traveling to Monett on Nov. 17.
At Webb City, winning matches for McDonald County were Jacob Owens, Kaden Keeling, Gabriel Selby, Jacob Selby, Caden Misner, Ethan Pendergraft, Austin Manwiller, Alexis Pedroza, Carson Hoth, Anthony O'Leary, Jordon Meador (two wins), Jr. Eliam (two wins) and Levi Neale.
Picking up wins at MCHS on Nov. 15 were Keeling (two wins), Eliam, Brandon Armstrong, O'Leary, Gabriel Selby (two wins), Owens (two wins), Manwiller (three wins), Giovanni Uribe, Meador (two wins), Jacob Selby (three wins), Misner, Jabin Harvey and Pendergraft.
Misner picked up three wins on Nov. 17 at Monett when the Mustangs faced Joplin South, Joplin East and Diamond in addition to the host Cubs. Picking up two wins were Keeling, Owens, Eliam and Gabriel Selby. Earning one win were Pendergraft, Manwiller, Pedroza, Armstrong, Uribe, Meador, Harvey and Hoth.
McDonald County was at the Joplin Tournament on Nov. 19 before closing out its season at Carthage on Dec. 1 and at the Seneca Tournament on Dec. 3.
