The McDonald County Lady Mustangs received the No. 5 seed at the Carl Junction Tournament and will face fourth-seeded Jasper at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, in its 2016-2017 season opener.
The winner advances to the semifinals to play the winner of top-seeded Carl Junction and Monett at 6 p.m. Dec. 1. Tournament finals are set for 2:30 p.m. Dec. 3.
Carl Junction is followed in the seedings by Carthage, Seneca, Jasper, McDonald County, Nevada, Liberal and Monett.
Boys Tournament
The McDonald County boys received the eighth seed at the Carthage Tournament and will take on top-ranked Nevada at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28. The winner advances to the semifinals to play the winner of Rogers High School and Carthage at 6 p.m. Dec. 2.
Following Nevada in the seedings are Neosho, Seneca, Rogers, Carthage, Joplin, Monett and McDonald County.
