The McDonald County High School baseball team received the number five seed at the Missouri Class 5, District 12, Baseball Tournament and will play the host, Joplin Eagles, at 2 p.m. May 14 at Joplin High School.
The winner advances to the semifinals to take on top-seeded Webb City at 4:30 p.m. May 16.
Neosho is the number two seed and will play the winner of the Republic/Carthage first-round game in the other semifinal matchup.
The finals are set for 6 p.m. May 18.
