Groff Lone Golfer At Championships

Jeremiah Groff was the lone golfer from McDonald County High School to compete at the Missouri Class 3 District 6 Golf Championships held May 3 at Silo Ridge Golf Course in Bolivar. Kole Keith was scheduled to compete but missed the tournament due to illness.

Groff fired a 133 for 18 holes over the par 72 layout. Jackson VonBehren, of Logan-Rogersville, won the individual title with a two-over-par 74.

Logan-Rogersville won the team title with a four-man total of 334. Carl Junction's second-place total of 344 also earned the Bulldogs a state berth.
